A Message from the Chancellor
Harvest Intercontinental American University: A Vision Realized, A Future Unfolding

With deep gratitude to God and great joy, I welcome you to Harvest Intercontinental American University (HIAU)—a bold and visionary extension of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited. HIAU was not born out of ambition, but out of a divine mandate to educate, equip, and empower the next generation of leaders to transform their nations and the world.

The Vision: A World Where No One Lives or Dies Without Access to Exceptional Quality Education
For years, our ministry has proclaimed the Gospel and discipled believers around the world. But as the needs of the communities we serve grew more complex, it became clear that if we wanted to make the most difference for the most people, we needed to make education an essential part of our mandate. This decision to add educational programs to our ministry is rooted in our conviction that few things can match the positive impact of making quality education accessible to young men and women, especially in underserved regions.

HIAU is a response to that conviction. It is a place where spiritual formation meets academic excellence, where students are not only taught how to make a living, but how to make a difference. We are building more than a university; we are raising a generation of servant leaders, problem-solvers, and world-changers.

What Inspires Me
What inspires me most is the potential I see in people—especially in young men and women whose opportunities have been limited not by talent, but by lack of access. I am driven by the belief that every human being, created in the image of God, has the capacity to lead, innovate, and create lasting impact when given the right tools. HIAU is our gift to those dreamers—the bridge between vision and opportunity.

A Journey of Faith: Key Milestones
The road to establishing HIAU has been one marked by prayer, perseverance, and providence. The initial vision was conceived followed by strategic planning and consultation in October, 2021.
The university received full approval and Licensure to operate as a four year degree granting university on December 23, 2023, culminating in our official opening on October 26, 2024.
Each of these milestones stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the unwavering commitment of a dedicated team.

Those Who Stood With Me
I am humbled and honored to be walking this journey with faithful men and women who believed in this vision from the beginning. I am especially grateful to: Dr. Kona Facia Nepay; Mr. Stanton Johnson; Dr. Josef Howard; Dr. Marjorie Adams; Rev. Dr. Jonathan Taylor; Pastor Joe Nimley; Professor Mamawa Freeman-Moore, Mr. Allen Brown, Dr. Jacob Meiporkoyah and Mr. Walker Richards.

Their prayers, insights, generosity, and sacrifices helped turn a God-given dream into a reality. Their faith and friendship have been indispensable.

The Road Ahead
HIAU is only just beginning. We envision expanding our academic offerings to include programs in Business, Liberal Arts,Education, Science Technology and Theology, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We are committed to excellence in instruction, innovation in curriculum design, and global impact through strategic partnerships and distance learning platforms.

Our goal is not simply to confer degrees, but to transform lives and communities. We see a future where HIAU graduates are leading with integrity in every sphere—government, business, ministry, and beyond.
