Admissions Requirements

ADMISSION POLICIES

The Office of Admissions and Records will process all students who receive Admission Letter from HIAU. Upon getting your letter of Admission, proceed to the Director of Admissions. Students wanting to enroll at the university must work with the Office of Admissions and Records for admittance. Admission is opened to all high school graduates who have sat and passed the HIAU Entrance Examinations, in Mathematics and English respectively.

Students will also be admitted to HIAU through the following methods:

  • Regular Admission Status: Student passes both English and Mathematics;
  • Provisional Admission Status: Student passes only English or only Mathematics but made a lower score in the other exam: Student will be required to repeat the Math or English and register for Remedial Math or English and register for the other required freshman courses.
  • HIAU will permit students with Provisional Admission Status to complete the remedial course during the first semester, and clear the deficiency with a passing score of 80% or above.
  • HIAU will also offer the College Preparatory Certificate Program with emphasis on the following courses: College Algebra, Essentials of English and Writing, Public Speaking and Effective Study Skills

Admission Requirements

Transcript from last high school completed; 2 Passport-sized photos; 2 Recommendation Letters from high school or transcript from previous institution and a letter from your community leader or church; 1 Long Manila folder;
