The College of Business and Entrepreneurship comprises four degree-granting departments: The Department of Accounting and the Department of Entrepreneurship. The heads of each of these departments will be chairpersons with the requisite qualifications and skills needed to develop the full potential of the students enrolled in the first BLEST colleges of HIAU.
The comprehensive integrated curriculum is designed to provide students with a practical degree and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills, which would prepare each student to be job-creators, well prepared to contribute to the workforce and economic development of Liberia.
The primary goals will be:
- to graduate well-qualified professionals who provide expert leadership as corporate executives, entrepreneurs, government officials, counselors, nonprofit administrators, and teachers; and
- to provide an education that enables graduates with skills to become successful entrepreneurs, equipped to manage people and resources within the context of wholeness in their personal lives based upon biblical principles of honesty, integrity, and truthfulness, coupled with ethical and exemplary behaviors which prepares HIAU students to demonstrate leadership and good character traits.
