Bishop, Dr. Darlingston G. Johnson

A diligent servant of God, Bishop Johnson has given his life to fulfilling the Great Commission and raising up devoted leaders and disciples who live lives of purpose and passion. He serves in several leadership capacities in various cutting-edge organizations. He is the Founder and CEO of Frontline Ministerial Alliance, and the Chairman of the African Strategic Leadership Prayer Network. In addition, Bishop Johnson is the Founding Chairman of the African Immigrant Caucus, an organization whose mission it is to mobilize African immigrants politically, empower them to take their seat at the table of power and give them a voice in shaping policies that affect them.
A scholar, Bishop Johnson graduated summa cum laude from Oral Roberts University in 1981. In 1984, he earned his Master of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University and received The Outstanding Master of Divinity Student Award. In 1986, he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. In 2009, Bishop received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bishop Johnson is the author of several books, The New You: Discovering Your New Life (2021), Grace that Overcomes: Life Transforming Devotions (2016), Light For Your Journey: Essential Building Blocks for a Successful Life (2008), formerly published as ABC Back to Basics: Essential Building Blocks for a Successful Christian Life (2002), Anointed for the Marketplace (2008), This One Thing I Do (2006), Good-bye Worry (2003) and Sexual Purity (1999).
His blog, “A Moment of Grace” presents insightful truths based on the Word of God and his own experiences. People in more than 150 nations read it. His television ministry airs locally and internationally to a potential audience numbering in the millions.
Bishop Johnson has received numerous recognitions from religious institutions and civil governments, including being presented the Key to the City of Douala, Cameroon, the Key to the City of Monrovia, Liberia, and the Key to the City of Freetown, Sierra Leone. He is married to Pastor Chrys Johnson, M.A., his partner in life and ministry.
