College of Theology

The College of Theology consists of four departments: the Department of Theology, the Department of Christian Education, the Department of Christian Counseling, and the Department of Missions.

Goals and Objectives

The College of Theology aims to equip men and women who are called to the Christian Ministry with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective service both within and beyond the local church in Liberia, Africa, and around the world. This college serves as a first-level professional degree for those seeking to enter full-time pastoral ministry and Christian servant leadership.

  1. A graduate with the degree of Bachelor of Theology, Education, Counseling, and Missions is expected to demonstrate: An ability to articulate the gospel message and his/her personal experience with Jesus Christ.
  2. Satisfactory knowledge of Biblical studies, Theology, Christian Ministry, Personal Ministries, and selected Liberal Arts disciplines.
  3. An understanding of human relations in group behavior.
  4. Satisfactory practical skills in preaching, education, and counseling, conducting Christian worship, teaching in the church setting, personal witnessing, church administration, and pastoral care.
  5. And model evidence of effective living as a Christian citizen and community leader.
